Another book that tells the gritty untold stories of women in war. While I could argue that it was longer than it needed to be, once I read the authors notes at the end I take that back. This book was a labor of love if there ever was one.

I make a habit of never reading about a book before I read it - I don't want to be influenced. Glad I didn't here.
