Fun and humorous, with lots of characters and side-plots. The chess plotline does get a little bit tedious. Some of the storylines don't get wrapped up by the end, which seems unusual for the genre.

Jemma and Elijah have an interesting relationship that overshadowed the development of Roberta and Damon's relationship. I'm looking forward to reading their book!

There are a few moments where consent is a bit questionable. The spicy bits also weren't exactly my cup of tea stylistically but I'll try the author again.
