This was not what I expected at all but I can safely say I really loved reading this book. It felt like playing a movie inside my head which I feel is a compliment to the writing style of Klune. After what happened with Alan, I couldn't read 5 pages without tearing up.
Minus half a star because I couldn't really form a clear picture of Wallace in my head. The person he is at the end of the story wouldn't be the same person who played him at the start of the novel anyway. People can change but I don't know if they can do it this dramatically.
