The Fury by Alex Michaelides

3.0

i keep reading Michaelides' books because there are so many elements that appeal to me: the classical references, the interest in trauma, the mystery and leading up to a plot twist. but i think after this book i won't go back to his books again--they're just not clicking for me.

my biggest complaint about this book is that it's told from a very particular perspective--that even breaks the fourth wall sometimes--but we still get actions of other characters when the narrator isn't present and even their thoughts. you can't have it both ways.
