Indian Tales by Rudyard Kipling

2.0

Probably like many other people, I got acquainted with Rudyard Kipling when I read a comic book version of the Jungle Book to my son many years ago. Kipling was born in British India and a lot of his works are set there. "Indian Tales" is a collection of short stories taking place in India. There are some repeating characters and a lot of the stories are about the Army.

I must say I did not find most of the stories very appealing, except for a few supernatural stories, notably "My Own True Ghost Story", "The Phantom Rickshaw" and "The Sending of Dana Da"
