Waterfire Saga, Book Three Dark Tide (Waterfire Saga, Book Three) by Jennifer Donnelly

3.0

Not quite as good as the previous installments, but still enjoyable. Despite my interest in reading other POVs, having so many perspectives in this book was jarring, though I appreciate that we also got into the villains' heads a bit more. My least favorite aspect was that Donnelly amped up the insta-love in 3 cases that were presented back-to-back, unleashing my hardest eyerolls, especially in conjunction with a Voldemort-esque anagram and pseudo-horcruxes that mad it all seem too similar to Harry Potter's prattling about the "power of love".
