This was an easy read. For me it ended being just fine because I’ve noticed the last few books by this author are missing that connection for me with the leading couple. For two people who grew up best friends, I just wanted to feel more. Maybe if she hadn’t rushed them getting back together post pregnancy news…I think dragging that out until the end would have allowed her to build the connection more. BUT then she would have the smut scenes so if that’s the priority then nailed it. Also the “suspense” piece was very underwhelming. Looking forward to the next one though. Brothers best friend/best friends sister and I can already tell we are going to get some whitty banter.
