I love the idea of this book and I would say up to the 80% point I was loving it and I think if you wanted to like starless sea then you might like is book. It’s a love letter to maps and not over pretentious about it
Now the point where they kind of lost me was the villains monologue at the end and then how did her mom survive in the town alone? Where did she get food? Why would you leave your child willingly to live alone because you didn’t want a man to have control over an empty town?
