I was so eager to dive straight into this book after the first one. The romance and spice was definitely upped a whole other level and I was there for it. The world was also explored more and got to know a few more of the gods. The suspense at the end had me staying up well into the early hours of the morning. I didn't enjoy this as much as the first book, but was still eager to read and excited to jump into the third book.
