Female Chauvinist Pigs: Women and the Rise of Raunch Culture by Ariel Levy
4.0
This book combined with "The Second Shift" changed my views on feminism forever. Why do some "feminists" hate femininity so much? Aren't they just playing the man in a patriarchal society?
I do agree with other reviews, though: the author does attack people instead of structures a lot of the time. I think for people who have been feminists for a while this book might have some interesting points to consider, but it probably holds more value to people who aren't really familiar with the culture or movement.
