PLEASE READ TRIGGER WARNINGS!!! this book was so graphic and the characters were so well written that i had to take pauses from reading it. i binge read this book in one day and was surprised by how much i came to love it as i read. it is disturbing and definitely not a light read, but is truly eye opening and frightening. i would implore more men to read this book and try to understand how female victims of SA feel. the unexpected “love story” at the end was so out of the blue but i think it showcases an important lesson on power dynamics. overall the characters were written so so so well and solely for that, it deserves praise.
