I got this as an arc from the author about 2 years ago and only now was I able to finish reading it... yikes. sorry.
the book's premise was my jam! I love PJO and ATLA is my favorite show on the planet but this book didn't do it for me. the issue is in the execution, in the pacing and the book has too much exposition and not enough showing things... which bothers me. also, the MC tries so hard to be unlike the other girls it's a bit annoying. and she's quirky which I'm fine with, but it's too much sometimes. the way she talks is cringe... anyways the ending hooked me though, but can't say I'll continue when I did;t really enjoy this one sadly... best of luck though!
