Freedom Is a Constant Struggle: Ferguson, Palestine, and the Foundations of a Movement by Angela Y. Davis

hopeful informative inspiring reflective fast-paced

This book is so important to read. I can listen to Davis’s smooth voice all day. Davis explains her argument beautifully about the intersectionality of social justice movements and why one group’s struggle is all of our struggle. My only critique is that Chapter 9 seems like a mad dash to list out all the (still important) issues that she didn’t “have time” to cover. Not sure if this was a speech translated into a book or if she was under a  deadline. Would love read more on this
