When It's Real by Erin Watt
2.0
I feel like a terrible human only giving this 2 stars - but since I don't know how to give 2.5 it'll have to do.
I enjoyed this, but as my friend Kat said, I wish it had been better. Although there was so much that was right with this book.
The long and long of it, I thought this was a sweet story and it made me nostalgic for young uncomplicated relationships- the kind when love conquers all and its not messy or unkind. And with the exception of the whole rockstar aspect it did seem plausible.
Although the final plot twist - you know the one with the thing and the thing - see no spoilers- was kind of pointless and also felt a little bit bunny boiler-ish and by that I mean psycho.
