What initially drew me to this book was the striking hot cover, the unique pairing of a hockey player and an ex-Olympic figure skater, and the fake relationship trope—all things I usually love. But unfortunately, this one just wasn’t for me. I gave it my best shot, reading with a full commitment up to 50%, but after that, I lost interest. The story felt unnecessarily long, and I found myself skimming the rest. Maybe I'll give it another try when I'm in the right mood, but for now, it's just not the right time.
