I had high expectations starting this book, which is probably why I am a bit disappointed. The romance and the overall plot were far too fast-paced to appreciate the story. If it had been lengthened and deepened a bit, it'd be a wonderful story.
Despite the lack of more political aspects, the world building was marvellous! I really felt transported in a world of fairies and contracts where every word and meaning matter. After so many books of elf-like-goody-fairies, it was a breath of fresh air.
