Nora is tired of watching the world pass her by, allowing the people around her to believe she’s plain and boring, too afraid to embrace the person she wants to be—until she sees John. Strong, ferocious, and unapologetic, John is everything Nora wishes she could be, and everything she wants. The sight of him is enough to inspire her to shatter the glass house she’s built around herself, but she never expected him to look her way, let alone for them to become entwined. When their worlds collide, they feel the threat of the trap closing around them—but neither Nora nor John can resist the forces that draw them together.
Miss Sin is the third and final novel in the Sin Series, and ultimately my favourite. The crime/light thriller plot made for a great backdrop for the sizzling romance between FMC Nora and MMC John, and although some parts were perhaps a little farfetched, my enjoyment far outweighed my scepticism. Nora’s growth and journey throughout the book was genuinely rewarding to read; as someone who struggles with anxiety and self-confidence, I felt a strong connection to her throughout. John, also, was an engaging MMC. Although there were a few alpha male moments that didn’t gel with me, John being an FBI agent added a unique dynamic to the narrative compared to the previous novels, including the spice (one word… handcuffs). Overall, a great finish to an enjoyable series.
