I think it was an okay read. The first part was definitely long, but once the story got going it was actually quite interesting although the story was somewhat predictable. One thing I liked about this book is how the main character, Harry Bosch isn't "invincible" as compared to his role in other novels and its good to see the interactions between him and his partners played out in this book.

A good read overall, but the storyline isn't all that spectacular.
