what an exciting read (<-- guy who is enamoured by recipe writing). this cookbooks is really meticulous but i actually wish there was a little bit more clarification on technique at some points. i made the vanilla and chocolate checkerboard cookies recipe but the dough for the chocolate bit was a lot drier than the vanilla due to the cocoa powder - wish there was a good way to balance this while making it bc it made it much more finicky to handle. otherwise a really thorough book! (very food processor heavy though)
