4.5 stars!

This is why Danielle L. Jensen is one of my favorite authors. I would’ve loved to read more about Lara & Aren, but Zarrah & Keris are 2 characters that definitely piqued my interest in the previous books. I’m happy to say that this book did not disappoint. DLJ delivered a story I didn’t know I needed: again great world-building, intriguing characters, lots of scheming and political maneuvering, and a forbidden romance full of yearning & desire. And now I can’t wait for the next book to come out, and I can only hope it won’t be too long!!
