The Game-Players of Titan by Philip K. Dick
3.0
This was an interesting read. He is playing with the concept of a huge scale card game with high stakes at play, while bringing in telepathic players, alien invasion fears and developments, and the occasional character focus.
It read a bit like a farce, without the humour, and I ended up having no connection to the characters.
It could be that PKD speaks to the brain, rather than the heart, or more importantly, rather than both.
