Had a hard time rating this one because I did not like the romanticizing of child and grown man relationship. Nothing will ever be right about that... and the main character is classic prey for grooming.

That said I couldn't stop listening. The tragic story of the main character and her brother was well written. I probably would have given it 5 stars but can't... it goes against everything I believe in to make a pedophile the hero of the story. It is revolting. Let's not forget she is only 8yrs old when they meet.

EIGHT. Tiny, small, abused, doesn't speak, eats of of garbage and never in front of people, doesn't let people touch her.
