I raced through this book in a day. It is fast-paced, exciting, has fully realised main characters you can't help but root for, intriguing court politics, and so much more. Maybe in a few days I will be able to calm my thoughts down enough to write a proper review. Until then, take my advice and read The Red Palace it you love murder and historical fiction
