The Horse and His Boy by C.S. Lewis
3.0
I always got a kick of of the talking horses in the Narnia film adaptations, though do they make the most compelling protagonists on their own? I did like how much personality Bree and Hwin had — they may have been more interesting than Shasta and Aravis, actually. I'm finding these books the most enjoyable when the focus on the Pevensie kids and their divided worlds, and seeing them as ruling kings and queens of Narnia isn't as fun for me. The secret/stolen prince plot wasn't laid out in a way that made it as satisfying a conclusion as it could have been, but alas!
