Kon-Tiki by Thor Heyerdahl
4.0
If you'd treat it as a pure fiction story, it's really cool. But we shouldn't forget that it actually happened at the end of 1940s... And the Polinesian people were heavily affected also in a negative way by the colonies management... Maybe he wanted to paint this perfect idyllic picture. Loved the descriptions of fauna and flora. Personally hated the shark hunting descriptions, but this part I can understand as it was different times and I want to believe they had no other option. Overall, a great book if you like the Robinson Crusoe-like stories, would be even nicer probably to discover it at school
