To whoever gave this a bad review: WHAT THE HELL?
This is a mashup from All Souls series by Deborah Harkness and obviously Twilight series by Stephanie Meyer. But from my perspective it has more an All Souls feeling than anything else and I love it so much.
Overall thoughts and feelings:
I can’t wait for the next book because this one got me sobbing and with so many questions at the end! I’ve been having some feelings towards a magical possibility for Grace since the very beginning of the book and I cannot be happier that she’s not the typical damsel in distress. No spoilers. :)
History development:
But yes, it is very romantic and I have no complains about anything in this matter, it was steamy but very romantic still and the fight scenes were so freaking awesome and this last point is something the really bothers me in other books because their fight scenes are weak and normally I just read as fast as I can so we can move forward with the book but in this case everything had the perfect amount of details and it was actually interesting. I love Grace personality, she’s stubborn but in a good way because normally I’m so mad at the stupid decisions the main character makes that they end up irritating me but Grace is different. Jaxon is so broken and pure that I just want to wrap him up in a blanket and protect him at any cost.
The last 3 chapters ;) were basically what helped me to end with sadness rather than anxiety and it was perfect for me.
I have nothing else to say to Tracy Wolff other than THANK YOU AND YOUR MIND for creating such an amazing book.
