This story nails the spooky fall vibes and reads like watching a cozy Halloween movie. While the worldbuilding is quite fascinating, I found this book quite lacking in character depth. Still one I'd recommend if you're in the mood for a chill autumn read, like a much tamer version of Neil Gaiman's Coraline in terms of scare factor.
