Miracle Season by Beth Hautala
5.0
This was an endearing and touching story of a young girl struggling to navigate grief in its many forms. Last Year's June was hard, This Year's June has to be better and Persephone is determined to make that happen any way she can. Miracle Season is a rare gem of a book, with an important lesson many, many people often forget— we change the world by simply being in it. The lives we touch, the people we love, our fingerprints on them linger long after we have gone. And no one is really gone as long as the love— whether it's a little bruised, or disguised as anger, or withered from the root up— is still there.
