The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky
5.0
I've never related to a book as much as I did to The Perks of Being a Wallflower. I think most teenagers (at least in the later years of high school) will agree. I love how this captures that time when you start distancing yourself from your family a little, talking to others about family/societal problems, listening to and discovering musical artists and other pop culture idols, and finding meaningful relationships with people who are going through more or less the same changes that you are. I would have loved to read this book in my late teens, but reading it in my mid-twenties was a really great and nostalgic experience too.
