Folie À Deux by Ruby Medjo

This was my first book by this author and I’m unwell! When I tell you this book has all the tropes my blacken soul lives for and I can’t wait for the first book in this series to come out this fall!

This story starts off with 17 year old Alice becoming a ward of the state after her mother and stepfather die in a tragic car accident. Within the same year of them passing, her aunt who took her in passes away as well. In order for her not to be tossed around from group home to group home until she turns 18, her older twin step brothers, Tristan and Jameson, offered to take her in. Alice has always been afraid of them and the twins have always kept their distance from her but now that they are all under the same roof, the truth about how they really feel about each other is starting to come to the surface.

If you are looking for a taboo spicy good time, read this book!! Even though it was 145 pages, you instantly get pulled into this world and attached to the characters. This book gives you enough bread crumbs and delicious spicy scenes that will leave you wanting so much more. The entire time I was reading this book I felt myself wanting to get to know more about the characters and their back stories. I wanted to dive deeper into the twins and Alice’s relationship and them beginning to fall in love for each other. I wanted to see them defend their relationship to the world and pledge their love and loyalty for each other to anyone that would listen. I wanted to know more about Alice friend Ellie and how she’s connected to this mafia world and will she have a HEA. I can’t wait for the next book!
