Under the Whispering Door by TJ Klune

5.0

Under the Whispering Door is an Adult fantasy LGBTQ+ romance that YA readers can enjoy as well because it doesn’t have explicit scenes.
Walter is a successful businessman who is used to everything going his way, yet appearing at his own funeral as a ghost wasn’t quite planned. At all.
A reaper takes him to a tea shop, where a ferryman will help him cross over. However, Walter doesn’t want to go. He wants to be alive again.
But the shop and its people start growing on him and he starts to question if love was more important than success.
I loved the concept so much, as well as all the cute little scenes. Also, the cover is an inspiration of its own. Just look at it! It all makes sense when you read it, and you should definitely read it.
