THIS WAS PURE INSANITY! This is one of the best thrillers I’ve read in a LONG time. Being in Perla’s head for most of the book was just wow like she was describing and planning horrible, vile things with no emotion. I haven’t read from a character this evil I think ever in a thriller. The way A.R. Torre ties everything together and there’s so many reveals that left me absolutely baffled. This was like the perfect thriller with an unstable main character, plot twists galore, and just a very dark and nefarious tone throughout. There were so many sick and twisted layers to this story and I could not put it down.
