This book was adorable in every way, but I was distracted by the absurdity of the notion that a female Democrat from texas would ever get elected President of the United States. Twice.
In all seriousness, this is such a strong debut. I think it needed a bit of an edit, as a lot of the political details seemed unnecessary to me and there were a few too many characters, but these aren’t strong complaints.
I appreciate romcoms that really take the time to show how the chemistry builds, even when they are insta-love situations.
