Love, Lies and Blood Ties by Courtney Marie
5.0
This book truly begins with a scene that pulls you in and the book never lets go...not even on the last page. Suspense, thriller, romance and two main characters you hate to love and try so hard to hate...but you just can't.
Amir and Ameena are murderers but they didn't want to be. They were forced into it by their uncle. When they left the Sudan for America, they thought life would get easier. Wrong! Amir feels trapped because he wants out of the game, but he can't because he won't leave his little sister behind.
Ameena wants to be something else but isn't sure how to get there.
What ensues is a story that keeps your turning pages and an ending that makes you say "what? Eww! Holy crap!" and some of everything in between! Well worth your time to read! Now I have to wait for the sequel.
