After the Golden Age by Carrie Vaughn
5.0
Man oh man, this was a good book.
I don't read about superheroes too often because they're either too serious or too camp in book form but this was really the perfect mix. A lot of people found Celia too whiny but considering her situation I couldn't blame her.
I do wish this novel had focused a little more on the lead up to the romance but at the same time I glad it didn't. The romance wasn't the important part but it didn't feel unnecessary either. I liked the relationships in general in this book and I felt that they kind of made the ending sadder and more bittersweet.
A seriously good book from a good author.
