This is the first crime novel I’ve ever read and the fact the whole cast was naughty old people really worked in its favour. It was a very easy read and hard enough to guess that it was enjoyable to try to work things out, but I would still say fairly guessable, hence the rating. It definitely reads as a debut novel and I can imagine that I’ll like the next one more.
