well, that ending was unexpected
what a heartwrenching depiction of dementia. i love the "deliberately unfinished" art style, love how many pages are just visuals for the reader to sit with. considering clémence's age, it felt like some of her decisions were not in her grandmother's best interest, although i suppose that's part of the panic of attempting to provide a happy memory to someone you're bound to lose
