OMG SOMEONE JUST GET ME THE NEXT BOOK, I CAN NOT HANDLE WAITING UNTIL NEXT YEAR!!!

In my opinion, this book is better than Glass Sword. Yes it got slow towards the end but it's understandable as the story is building towards something so big. However this could also be a result of me wanting Maven to come back at the story and the fact that it's past one in the morning.

After Glass Sword, I didn't go into this book with high expectations but I'm glad I didn't. This book is so gripping from the beginning, making you want to keep reading and not put the book down.

Also lets talk about the fact I got this book over a week early. This made immediately want to read when I got it. And that's what I did, putting down Harry Potter (I know right, shock!) and reading this book made me enjoy this book so much more.

The character development has definitely gotten better. Mare is no longer annoying, though she had her moments. Farley and Evangeline are still my favourite females, especially Evangeline in this book.

Still missing Shade though. I don't think I'll ever get over that.

Now lets talk about Maven. The boy is always breaking my heart. Most people dislike him but I can't help but love him. I see him as this broken boy who just wants to be loved. You'll definitely find out why in this book. Yes he's evil, but you still glimpses of his humanity. Let's hope that Victoria Aveyard doesn't kill him off otherwise I will not be happy.

Cal and Mare are getting so much cuter, but had me crying at the end.

Be prepared readers, you'll be on a bumpy road to tears, feels and screaming.
