There was potential, but it just didn't make they're for me. There were way too many useless details that made the book just drag out and had me begging for it to end. And the vampires come from a long ancient line of royalty with silly, modern, trendy names like Jaxon and Hudson? Ooooh, so intimidating - Not! And even though they're wet so many pointless details, other details didn't make sense. Like, did the author really envision the scene as she wrote about it? One example, Grace is sitting at the chess table. Jaxon right behind her, she stands, the interact. And then he keeps walking forward, forcing her to take several steps back until her back presses into the chess table. Um, they were literally standing right there, how did they end up several steps away? Just a lot of stuff like that that really annoys me. And one more complaint, as a redhead myself. Grace is described as having auburn hair, but also wears a lot of hot pink and even a yellow dress? Is the t there a redhead that does this? Like ew, it just doesn't look good. Big time clash. I lied, one more complaint, for real this time. The endless pages describing their kissing? Boring af and really the amount of kissing would just get on my nerves. Boring and annoying eventually. Ok, that's it, I don't recommend it.
