The Great Transition by Nick Fuller Googins

5.0

Normally apocalypse books feel either too abstract or unrealistic to haunt me. This however is truly the exception. When I read the authors descriptions of the climate crisis in Maine I knew he had to be from there. Brings up so many of our current conversations around accountability, economic greenwashing, constructed and imagined finish lines and even generational trauma. I will be recommending this one for a time yet. It is very topical to the right now so I am curious to see how this book feels different in 5-10 years
