Things You May Find Hidden in My Ear: Poems from Gaza by Mosab Abu Toha

5.0

My heart hurts after reading this. There is so much emotion, sadness, heartache, and violence that Mosab and all Palestinians have had to deal with and continue to deal with. These humans are just trying to survive, to live to see their family grow and experience life. It brings me so much sadness to know that life in Gaza is so difficult. I hope to see a free Palestine because all humans deserve to live life without worry and suffering. To live with fresh water and access to basic necessities.

This should be required reading for all. The poems are filled with difficult content but are easy to read. For folks new to poetry or for ones who don’t normally pick it up, please check this collection out.
