The School for Good and Evil by Soman Chainani

3.0

man. this book was a roller coaster. the premise? incredible. the world? incredible. the execution? meh. there was so much this book could do. i wanted badass villains. i wanted stereotypical heroes. i got none of that. it was also like a billion pages too long. and the characters are 12, but they definitely should not be. it got repetitive and boring. and then the ending was good, but not great. definitely middle tier.
