I love this series so far. I love that each book sets up different events or plot points and it really helps to keep the story going. This was the second from Persephone's perspective and her development here is immaculate. She's learning more about her magic and how it's tied to her emotions, which was pretty cool. This one introduced new characters and furthered Hades and Persephone's relationship, but it got a little heavier sometimes. After all, it is a dark romance, so I'm not surprised, but I think St. Clair handled it well. The romantasy vibes are also incredible. The spice is sooo so good and I cannot get enough of these two. This left on a bit of a turn of events so I'm excited to see where Hades' next book goes as well as the others in the series!
