Shari Lapena has done it again. I read this book in less than 24hrs. It was safe to say I was hooked from the start.
A small town in Vermont is rocked when the body of a teenage girl is found. Nothing bad ever happens in Fairhill, everyone knows everyone, doors are hardly ever locked and parents dont fear for their children’s safety. That is until this case.
Someone in Fairhill murdered this poor girl. Everyone becomes a suspect. Was it her friends who loved her dearly? Her boyfriend who was becoming a bit too possessive of her? The parent of another child? A classmate? A teacher who may have paid too much attention to her? A man who made her uncomfortable at work? Or someone completely random?
The end will shock you.
The book bounces between the viewpoints of many people on the town who all had a connection one way or another to Diana. With so many suspects it’s hard to pinpoint who’s lying and who’s not. A great whodunit with many twists and turns! A read that I highly recommend!
