This did that “sad, confused, detached 20 something” trope waaaayyy better for me because there were actual stakes!! I enjoyed the writing and I enjoyed the ride. If i wanted to I could look deeper into the parallels or our two central black characters which was so compelling. Most of all this story felt so real to me? Idk i enjoyed it!!!!
