5.0
“The moon on a bracelet and the sun in a jar,” said Sarai. “We really wreak havoc on the heavens, don’t we?”

Okay. This book. THIS BOOK. As someone who’s obsessed with dreams and magical writing, this book spoke to my very soul. I was enthralled from the first few pages. I immediately fell in love with our main dude, Lazlo. Sweet cinnamon roll Lazlo, who needs to be protected at all costs. I also learned to hate a few characters (mainly one) with my entire being. This novel was a rollercoaster of emotions and I loved every minute of it. I haven’t been THIS captured by a book in a very long time. Guys, I actually cried real tears near the end. Strange the Dreamer, with its stunning writing and continuous twists, has become a new favourite. If you haven’t read this masterpiece yet, I highly recommend you do so.
