First things first that cover is beautiful. I really enjoy novel in verse and this one didn’t disappoint. So much was said in a simple but effective way.
“I would fight the world for you but i can’t keep fighting you.”
That quote is so real. Especially when it comes to someone you care about and love a lot.
-It’s sad when you have to walk away from friends that you thought would be forever.
-People who have people around them to only make them look good are weak.
-Friends that laugh on your face with others that clearly don’t like you are the ones that will stab you in the back.
-Loved how the main character was trying and letting things slide. But then to watch her find her voice and speak that ish was amazing.
-Family can be your biggest enemies/bullies.
-What she did for that girl in the end was better than a lot of us would have been. That just speaks to who the character is and how also she won’t be making the same mistake.
-This book to me is loving who you are, never let others dull you and remember how strong you can be.
