Helen Hardt never disappoints! Flare was the start of Brock and Rory's story and I loved it. I felt like I saw myself in Rory, for being seen as a body or pretty face, and it was nice to connect to her as a character and share some of her vulnerabilities. Brock and Rory had such a fierceness about them, and the push and pull was intoxicating. I kept wanting more. I also loved unraveling the mystery some more. The cliffhanger had me reeling and I love the mixture of darkness, romance, and mysterious things happening throughout all these books. I'll always be a Steel Brothers stan and I'm excited to see more of Brock and Rory as well as the family drama that I know is coming.
