M. Monique is one of my favorite authors from 2023 so it is only right that some of my last reads of 2023 comes from her collection. This book gave me everything I needed in a new release. Dez was not playing with Raine and I loved that so much. Dez was on my girl head from the start and I was here for it. The way that M Monique wrote about dealing with grief during the holidays added so much to this book. She made me fall in love with an unhinged man like December. I can’t wait to read more books from her next year.
