So this had a lot to it but it started out with a cartoonish quality of super heroes, uber powers with many realms. I'd think it would be hard not to do this at the point since the Night Huntress world has been going 16 books and everyone seems to get more powers in every book. This really felt like an ending book. We didn't get to see into Vlad's life now but we see him, Cat and Bones come to help, also Mencheres, Crispin & Denise.

They end up at Crispin's house so we get a little of him and Denise and life.

All and all we get most everyone and a little chatter of who they are now. I would call it a wrap as this story is also wrapped up. It was a really good ending too. I would've like to see everyone a bit more and get a future and I can imagine spin off books like one for Ashael or Marie (though Marie would be tough)
